The Clubhouse
Following its completion and official opening in 2007, Mountrath Golf club is proud to have at last a clubhouse that complements our excellent golf course. The clubhouse with its modern amenities is designed to blend in with its surroundings. The coziness and ambiance of the bar and the dining area are well appreciated by visitors and members alike. The changing areas and shower facilities for gents and ladies are well appointed.
At the end of an enjoyable and challenging round of golf, what is better than to unwind in the warm ambiance of our clubhouse over a drink and a special meal? We have managed to retain the coziness and relaxed atmosphere of our old clubhouse in the new facility. You are assured of a warm Irish Welcome.
The bar and catering is managed by Fiona who always manages to conjure up something special to please your palate. Food is served all day with excellent choices. Special arrangements can be made to cater for Golfing Societies, or other special social functions.
Large glass areas bring the outside in and add to the outdoor feel of the clubhouse. These areas provide excellent views of the Slieve Bloom Mountains and Higgins Grove, in addition to unrestricted views of the 1st tee, 9th and 18th greens.
